Many dragons have been discovered by the course of the years and, with the newest studies and riding techniques, knowing your dragons has become essential to any human being. Each Dragon as a certain rarity index which illustrates the difficulties with which one may find the dragon. There are many dragon species yet to be discovered, so if you may know of one please post it up for verification:
[Image] [Training Video]
(common) Deadly Nadder - Ferocious and beautiful, the Deadly Nadder is popular amongst women for its bright colors and pearl like scales. It's flame is unbelievably hot, however it has the worst vision among dragons. It is uncapable of seeing anything in front of its own snout and, for that reason, is often a poor shooter.
[Image] [Training Video]
(common) Gronkle - Has one of the worst dragon bites known to man. It's stout shape makes it a very slow dragon, but its fast beating wings give it high maneuverability; it may hover and even fly backwards if it'd like. Equipped with 6 powerful shots, it's among the most vicious of dragons. Unfortunately, it's slow speed is only one of it's flaws. It is easily startled by loud noises, causing it to become disoriented and lose control of its flight. More over, it has the horrible tendency of falling asleep as it flies and is an incredibly lazy dragon; only waking up if it crashes into something.

(uncommon) Hideous Zippleback - An exotic and sly dragon, the Zippleback owns two heads. One of its heads expels a flammable gas while the other lights it to cause a disasterous explosion. Each head has a personality and thought of it's own, so the dragon is occasionally found arguing with itself. Although ineffective in battle, this dragon does wonderfully in infiltration jobs and may easily retreat by veiling its way with a cloud of thick gas.
[Image] [Training Video]
(common) Terrible Terror - Although it is the smallest of dragons, it's often described as the "Drake Pistol". With a superb aim and reach, its flame is very similar to a bullet fire. Riders that specialize with this species often own more than one as they are pack mates and would become saddened without the company of another. Unfortunately, they have a bit of an attitude and often argue with their partener, siblings, mates, and anything else in its range.
[Image] [Training Video]
(rare) Monstrous Nightmare - The most violent of dragons. It has a vicious temperament and is often found fighting enemies much stronger than itself. Difficult to tame and temperamental, this dragon has one of the highest attack rates known to man. Covering itself in its fluid like fire, it fights with its body aflame, making it seem so threatening that some enemies would rather flee than face it. Sensitive to loud sounds. It may occasionally spue a bit of fire as it sneezes, coughs, or laughs. Strangely enough, it's fire has healing properties. If you coat a wounded dragon with the liquid fire of a Monstrous Nightmare and allow it to harden, the hard stone left behind will works as a cast or bandage and will also keep the wound from infecting.
[Image] [Training Video]
(extremely rare) Night Fury - With break neck speeds and the strongest attack power among dragons, very little is known of the Night Fury. It's a highly intelligent dragon, capable of learning human habits and abilities with amazing ease and haste. It apparently can understand human dialect. It is difficult to befriend as it is absurdly rare. Only a handful of these dragons remain.
[First Image] [Second Image]
(uncommon) Thunder Drum - A dragon capable of producing sound blasts so powerful that it may easily kill anything in close range. Riders must be equipped with specific gear to ride it. Living in the ocean line caves, it has poor eyesight and relies on its rider to guide it in the daylight. Very handy in distracting/disorienting enemy dragons in battle, they usually are first in battle fronts in order to weaken the enemy forces.
[First Image] [Second Image]
(uncommon) Timber Jack - With the largest wing span among dragons, it has sacrificed the power of its flame and, instead, gained slicing wings. These wings may bring down entire forests and deal heavy damage on any dragon. They are the reason for which this dragon is the fastest of all, able to minimize all air resistance and make itself extremely difficult to keep up with when in flight. The most daring Riders are paired with this dragon. Riders must be intensely trained before being taken out to battle as the Timber Jack's speed requires a high level riding skill. Riders must also wear protective gear so not to be hurt by the dragon's wings. It's extremely effective against defensive dragons; capable of slicing through the defenses and hastily fleeing before being damaged by the opponent.
[First Image] [Second Image]
(uncommon) Scaldrum - This is the most classic specimin for aquatic dragons. Having developed scales and wings more properly addapted for swimming, the reptiles body has grown to massive amounts and makes it's movements in land much too slow for any true mention. Within its belly is a chamber filled with constantly heating water. It sprays the boiling contents onto its opponents eyes, blinding and causing searing pain which most usually will make any opposing dragon back away. The water is also useful to weaking a dragon's sense of smell as it is riddled with a sickly sweet scent acquired within the dragon's body.
(Rare) Bone Napper - Commonly seen roaming ruins and battle sites, this dragon is believed to be the reincarnation of innocent war victims who still will to fight for their cause. It has no skin between its wings and, as such, is incapable of flight. It's bone covered body make it the dragon with the greatest resistance to both flame and physical assaults. It usually attacks by ramming into other dragons, however is capable of expelling a bright blue flame. The flame is incredibly cold and startles dragons with its flash, causing the enemy to collapse and fall into the Bone Napper's range of attack.
(rare) Changeling - This dragon is well ready for combat from the day of its birth. Unique to its species, the Changeling may spew acid instead of fire. The sprays are wide spread and the substance left behind is sticky, not only causing burning agony into enemies but also slowing them down quite efficiently. These dragons are meritable for their cleverness, although they are tricky to tame. After all, what a Monstrous Nightmare has in agressive nature, the Changeling has in stubborness.
(uncommon)Scrailer - Considered the most frightening dragon, the Scrailer inhabits caves and is a completely nocturnal beast. It is very similar to a bat in terms of its habits and appearance... only a much deadlier version. The Scrailer uses its sonar in order to guide itself in the darkness and in bright daylight when necessary. It makes now sound as it flies through the skies, its presence is only made certain when it strikes. Although it has a nasty habit of using its claws and fangs in order to shred the victims, the tames Scrailer displays a frightening fire power, all too similar with a dynamite explosion.
(extremely rare)Whispering Death - Very little is known of the Whispering Death. Properly documenting the habits of one is almost impossible as its acute sense of smell spots potential meals from miles away, even when the same is using items in order to conceal its scent. It is named after the sound it emminates while conjuring its flames; the heating of its throat is described as "supernatural voices" which "call onto its victims". Taming one requires extreme will power and skill. This dragon will attempt to murder you before it trusts you. The rider needs to show power and capability, superiority over the reptile in order to ride it for the first time. Once done, it is said that the Whispering Death may be well among the best dragons for any rider.

(uncommon) Dayshade - The Dayshade wasn't a known dragon species until the defeat of the Berk Wyrm. These dragons apparently lived their entire lives inside the Wyrm's lair as its private servants, attending to its every need. They are cursed to be earthbound because of their stunted wings, but their excellent climbing ability somewhat accounts for it. Due to living in the lair all their lives (before the Fall of the Wyrm), Dayshades have white scales that are nearly translucent, but provide great (and fireproof) armor. They are virtually useless in combat, and bright lights will injure their eyes. Their teeth are delicate but deadly, fine enough to chop food. They can keep up a steady stream of grey fire for a few minutes at most, but the fire isn't warm enough to instantly incinerate a victim.

(rare) Nightshade - Named because of it colours reflecting the poisonous flowers that grow wild, the nightshade was discovered after the defeat of the Berk Wyrm. The nightshade is partly aquatic with its gills hidden under its scales on its neck; this Beast can be found around coves and bays. The Extra Frills along either side of its neck, arms and tale help stabilize for greater manuvering during flight and while swimming. The Nightshade Spews a Poisonous flammable potion, which it can ignite with a clack of its metallic teeth. The Nightshade is extremely intelligent, Anyone wanting to ride this fearsome dragon must be able to hold their breath for a long time or win over its trust.

(common) Firewinder - A Firewinder is a common species of dragon identified by it's many wings, its long snakelike body, many small sharp teeth, many eyes, and all around lack of legs. It's underbelly is black or dark grey. Its upper body has been known to be many colors, ranging from red-brown to blue to white. However strangely there has never been a recorded case of a black Firewinder. A Firewinder sheds its outer layer of sclaes periodically like a snake as it grows and will keep growing till well over a hundred years of age. It is slower on the ground then when flying, but even then it is not particularly quick, only a little faster then most humans. Though they can carry one rider, more then that becomes difficult due to the fact that their shape is already bad for flying. They are really most valued for their endurance and firepower. As common as they are, they are difficult to train and control.

(extremely rare) Rainbowties - Rainbowties are rather large, about twice the height of a shire horse and up to fifty feet long. However these are very vain creatures. You are not to sit or touch their full manes or they will turn on you. Riders must strap their saddles to their stomachs to ride. Rainbowties always have the same patterns, the colors are just in different places. And the base colors can be either black or white, no grays. Eyes can be of any color. Along with being vain, these creatures are very proud and are picky about their riders. However they have kind hearts and take pity on wounded creatures. Despite their size, they are not an attack-type dragon. They are healing-type dragons. Their spit helps heal wounds and their tears can restart a heart (only the heart, though. If you are dead, that means all of your bodily functions have shut down and this dragon cannot help you). They can fight when necessary, however. They have long, sharp talons and fangs that get longer as they age. Very old Rainbowties have been seen with fangs that are so long they don't even part with their jaws completely open! Young Rainbowties are very cute and playful, growing more vain and proud as they age.
WARNING!
As we don't want a superpopulation of any sort of dragons, restrictions as to dragon slots will be placed. That way, our site won't have twenty Night Furies despite it being an extremely rare dragon. As of currently, these are the restrictions:
Extremely Rare Dragons - 3 of each species
Rare Dragons - 5 of each species
Uncommon Dragons - 7 of each species
Common Dragons - Unlimited
Current population:
