First the fields were silent. Perfect. Still. This small stretch of field was the ideal picnic spot. Warm, sunny, and with a slight breeze. The grasses swayed lazily and the clouds flowed across the sky. Then there was a sound like a gunshot as fire shot into the air and many wings beat the ground. One fish went up in the air, then another, then another. Each was hit with a ball of flame. A dragon rose out of the grass. A huge serpentine creature, grey in color, spitting its white flame. It rose high above the field, spitting flame.
Fenrir decided that this was an interesting way to cook fish and might do it again in the future. Training and very simple cooking at the same time. "Okay Shasaka, that's it. We can go eat now," he called to the dragon.
Shasaka descended much more quickly then she had risen, as she had gravity on her side now. Little human, I do not understand why you do this. It seems more convenient to eat raw fish.

Saul Watched the two, feeling a bit of animosity towards the human. The loud sound had awoken him from a very nice nap.
He shook his head, to get the sleep out of him and stretched a bit , his stark white bone in contrast with the dark dirt and green forest.
At the sight of the fish, his stomach gave a rumble of protest and irritation. Saul ignored it. There was a human over there. Humans were not to be trusted. But there was also another dragon....
What to do....
His bony tail gave a flick as he thought it over.

Fenrir nodded thanks to Shasaka and gave her what fish they had not cooked. Then he began the trek back to town, pleased with today. Shasaka had actually done what he wanted her to do instead of making him do what she wanted. That was an improvement.
Shasaka nodded back, spread her snake body, folded her wings, and began to eat. The firewinder was huge, even a bit big for her own kind, and consumed a great deal of food. Ah, the little human tried to feed her, but she always went fishing. She gulped down a fish in one bite, and then perked up her head, absolutely still. There was someone there, another dragon. She called, Hey, I can smell you. Come out.

With a flick of his tail, Saul came out of the woods when he was called to, slowly taking his time to approach the other dragon, curious but not at all daunted. He stopped a little away from Shasaka and shook his head and scratched himself.
The human woke me up He said mildly in a matter-of-fact tone.
Saul wasn't mad, he was just stating the facts.

Shasaka bobbed her head, understanding. Yeah, my human can be loud when he wants to. Him and that hammer. She gulped down another fish. I hope you're not angry. Humans have no sense of smell. They can't tell you're here. Of course Shasaka knew that humans could smell things. Fenrir commented on it often. But they couldn't smell nearly well enough to survive without those huts and weapons to keep the predators out. Instead of efficiently taking cover when they scented danger, they wasted resources keeping up houses all year.

No im not mad.... He replied.
Saul watched Shasaka gulp down the fish, and his stomach gave another rumble, which he ignored. When had he last eaten?.....yesterday around the morning, an entire sheep. Sheep was good. Fish was good too,...especially tuna...tuna was the best.
